Today is one of the GREATEST days in my entire life. Meeting Todd Lockwood + R. A. Salvatore = life worth liveing.

So today started really well I got up at 5 am and woke up Tyler and Mattie at 5:30. Tyler, being the awsome guy that he is, made us all pancakes, so I left with a full tummy at about 6:30 am.

I proceeded to cry like a bitch in my car for 20 minutes because I was driving to Decatur GA by myself XD.

AFTER I composed myself I began my merry little trip to OH MY GOD IT IS FREEZING Georgia. The drive was really nice actually, there was NO traffic and I made it there in a little over 7 hours due to frequent stops for gas and resting.

So after a loooooooonnnnnngggggg and tireing 7 hours of driving I FINALLY make it to Decatur... NO ONE HERE KNOWS HOW TO DRIVE! OH MY GOD. I thought I was going to be run over like 30 times! But the good thing is that I found the library AND my motel within walking distance of each other <3. So I'm looking at my clock getting myself situated in my very nice, but very cold, hotel room. it's only 2.... Salvatore is supposed to be there at 7:15 pm. So I do what any normal dedicated fan would do 8D I pack up ALL of my 10 magical books and march myself over to that library and I sit there.... for 5 hours.

And for 5 hours I fidigited, flipped through my books, and drove the whole library insane with my contained excitement XD I was RIGHT ABOVE where I would meet my God, so containing myself was a bit difficult.

When it finally came time, I happily hauled my spine shattering load down to the bottom floor, bought my copy of "The Ghost King" unsigned and a copy of "The Stowaway" signed by Bob and Geno Salvatore. When he came in I'm pretty sure I experienced my first orgasim XD

And then he spoke..... It was like magic!

Bob Salvatore is one of the most entertaing people I have ever listened to whilst he was giving his speech XD He talked about his life and how writing just fell to him after he became inspired by Tolkin. He talked about his lovely family, answered questions about the books, and humored us all by telling us the tale of how Pikel got his name.

(for those of you who don't know, Pikel (pronounced Pickle) is one of the dwarven BoulderShoulder Brothers (Ivan and Pikel) and is basically one big joke, he even has a green beard XD.)

After he finished answering questions and telling stories he procceeded to sign our books, which was awsome! I ended up in the back of the line with the 2nd most books and when he got to me it was so cool : ) I got 2 pictures with him, all my books signed (each with a personalized quote! And One that actually said he was happy to meet me and to drive safe : D) and A chance to talk with him. He seemed pretty happy when I told him I drove 7 hours just to get there and was leaving in the morning to go back, so I hope that brightened his day : ) I didn't tell him I have 4 teeth pulled a few days before leaving XD.

And now I sit here in my very very cold, but comphy hotel typeing to you my tale <33 I will have a new ID up soon of Me and Salvatore XD That is FOR CERTAIN.
